Dear Friends of the Cuban Five:
Each new year brings renewed hope for victory in the people’s
struggle. This is especially true for 2006 and the Cuban Five.
This year, all our united efforts-both in the United States and
worldwide-of the popular movement and of the defense attorneys, will
prove decisive for the inevitable freedom of the Five Cuban Heroes.
Let us all resolve to multiply the struggle for their freedom,
following the heroic example of Gerardo, Ramón, Antonio, Fernando
and René. In the most difficult moments, they have never wavered in
their fight for justice and the certainty of their cause.
They inspire us to keep on.
May the year 2006 bring victory to the Cuban Five!

Queridos amigos de los Cinco Cubanos:
Cada año nuevo trae renovadas esperanzas de victoria en la lucha de
los pueblos.
Esto es especialmente cierto para el 2006 y los Cinco Cubanos.
Este año, todo nuestros esfuerzos unidos-ambos en los Estados Unidos
y en todo el mundo-del movimiento popular y de los abogados de la
defensa, serán decisivos para la libertad inevitable de los Cinco
Héroes Cubanos.
Propongámonos todos multiplicar la lucha por su libertad, siguiendo
el heroico ejemplo de Gerardo, Ramón, Antonio, Fernando y René. En
los momentos más difíciles, ellos no han claudicado en su lucha por
la justicia y la certeza de su causa.
Ellos nos inspiran para seguir la lucha.
¡Que este año 2006 sea el de la victoria para los Cinco Cubanos!
